Wide Selection of Free Printable Paper Dolls

This site offers many fun paper doll printables for free. http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/paper_dolls.htm

The below links have a variety of paper doll printables. I am not familiar enough with copyright laws to know for sure the legality of them... but all are out of print and one of them has the artists permission for personal use.

These can be printed on cardstock and sent as is or laminate the main doll and send them cut out for easier fit in the shoeboxes and so that the children more easily understand them.

If you do a google search of free printable paper dolls you will find a TON more.

  1. Hi Rhonda! I am a community relations volunteer in PA and I have been enjoying your blog all summer. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration!!!
I looked at the paper dolls and they are beautiful. I was excited to see some from my childhood there. I could see myself using up a lot of paper and ink making dolls for my boxes and my girls. But I wonder, is it legal to print copies of them? Thanks!

  2. First, I am glad you have been enjoying the blog!

Second, I am not a legal expert but on her blog it says, "Note: All scanned paper dolls on this site are out-of-print, and in the personal collection of Teri Pettit" And then it gives printing instructions. And some of the pages actually have permission granted by the artist, but NOT for profit.

    1. Thank you--I will have to look more closely. My sister and I played for HOURS with our paper dolls!

  3. Because I simply do NOT know the rules on this I have added other sites.. the first are for SURE ok. The second has some created by the website as well as others that I do not know about.

  4. I loved paper dolls as a little girl! I remember cutting out doll clothes for hours - and so did my mom. Gee, I think I need to thank her for that. ;-)

After writing a literature study guide for The Clay Marble about a little girl in Camodia who made marbles - and dolls - out of clay, I've been on a major doll hunt for OCC. Paper dolls? Brilliant!
